DIY skin brightener

I have a lot of clients that want brighter skin. Some try DIY masks of lemon juice and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). A lot of times, it ends up making the skin appear darker. Try this instead:
take some fresh papaya and mash it up; you may use a fork, or anything that will mash the fleshy fruit. After it is mashed, add a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) to the papaya. When it starts to fizz a bit, apply it to the desired area (such as armpits, inner thighs and groin area, elbows, knees, bottom of feet, hands, neck, pretty much anywhere). Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes and wipe off with damp cloth. You may add a little bit of hydrocortisone if you have any reaction (it may tingle a little bit).

If you would like to use this as a scrub, take the mashed papaya, and add a little bit of coconut oil (about 3 teaspoons), 1 tablespoon of coffee grounds, and a tablespoon of brown sugar. Apply this to your skin (externally) before you shower. Rub your skin and allow to sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Carefully, get into your shower (every time I tell someone to jump in the shower, they make a joke of it lol).  Rinse off and enjoy brighter, softer skin 😀
